Cool Idea -- BUT How does it S O U N D!

I am very interested in this. However, I would need to hear a range of sounds from it with a description of the guitar, and settings that resulted in the sound. Seems like a strange oversight to me.

Some of the patches are pretty good - see my thread here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=64

I think if some of the technically minded folks on here collaborated with a couple guitar players and designed around that, it would be awesome!!!!
Regardless - it's the start of something VERY big - many of us from the boutique effects analog world are either intimidated or don't have the time to learn the digital side of effects!

I think having users post audio files along with relevant gear information is a great idea! I created a patch using two of my wet/dry delay modules, the chorus module, and my simple mixer module. I'll try to find some time over the weekend to record it and upload an mp3. Hey Eric: What is the upload filesize limit on the forum boards?

Let's see if this works!

I got my Coyote today, been playing with it for a couple of hours.
This is recorded on my (also new, bought it yesterday for something completely different) Zoom H4, a cheap but versatile recorder, on my modified Epiphone 18watt tube amp. Sound isn't too great and it clips towards the end but you get the idea.
The distortion is not the Coyote but another pet project, a cheap (as in 40US$) tube distortion that needs some modding and tweaking but is still original.

I'm also having some input clipping on the coyote, as the pickups on this guitar are passive but extremely hot! I've had trouble getting proper clean sound out of it on some amps, and i think it's a bit over the top for the Coyote, but I'll try to buffer the input some day.

Tunstuff, by the way.

Oh, and this is on a saturday around 12-13:00 local time after a solid dose of caffeine and no warmups. Don't expect great art...

As I said, the guitar output is too hot for the Coyote, that's why it's distorting. The Coyote 1 input is not capable of handling this particular pickup, the output is simply too loud.
